Montagu Springs Resort offers fantastic amenities for families, including several pools and sports facilities, making it an excellent value for the money. The location is beautiful and provides great entertainment for kids. However, the condition of the chalets leaves much to be desired, with some maintenance issues that shouldn't be overlooked.

Our stay at the resort was quite mixed. The location offers stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere, which we loved. However, the rooms were in desperate need of upgrades, especially considering the cost. While the kids enjoyed the pool, cleanliness issues and outdated amenities put a damper on our overall experience.

The rooms were unfortunately quite small and not well-maintained. We noticed old air conditioners and too many spider webs outside, which made the space feel uncomfortable. Rating: 4/10

Service was acceptable, although I did find some staff members a bit off-putting. Although they were friendly, the check-in process was less than ideal, especially when policies changed without prior notice. Rating: 6/10

The resort is set in the beautiful mountains of Montagu, which made for some relaxing views. It's quiet and immerses you in nature, although it could be better maintained. Rating: 7/10

While Montagu Springs has a stunning setting and some enjoyable facilities, my stay was marked by a mix of highs and lows. The chalets were clean and comfortable, although a bit dated, and the hot pool experience was fantastic. Unfortunately, the noise from other guests and issues with some amenities were detractors. Overall, it's a decent getaway for family and friends, but improvements could definitely enhance the experience.

I had a mixed experience at Plettenberger Cottage. While the property is beautiful and has great potential, the unit we stayed in was in disrepair which detracted from the overall value. The warm swimming pool was a highlight during our stay, although the service could definitely use some improvement.
